While we like to call them Herbal Infusions, infusions are commonly known as Herbal Tea.
Fruit teas or infusions are distinguished from Herbal Teas or Infusions by the addition of flavourings to herbs and fruits.
DESCRIPTION
A restful aid containing gentle berry flavours derived from leaves and fruits plus St Johns wort. The latter is said to be useful for anxiety disorders, mild depression and sleep disorders although we would recommend seeking further advice if drinking this tea for medicinal reasons.
INGREDIENTS
St Johns wort, blackberry, strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant and hibiscus
TO MAKE
1 heaped teaspoon for 200ml cup
Add freshly boiled water
Steep for 6 – 10 minutes then pour
